My future job

Image
A few years ago I worked in an accounting office, my job was to analyze accounts and make the financial balances of some companies and it was the most boring job in the world. In fact, it was at that moment that I realized that I don’t want to have a relationship with the world of finance and I decided to study journalism, looking for something that I was passionate about and more dynamic in terms of work. It wouldn't bother me in the future to return to an office as long as it has nothing to do with the world of finance. My ideal work would have to be directly related to journalism, in the field of culture, since it’s something that fascinates me. Criticizing music albums would be fantastic, it would be what would suit me the most, since I do it for mere pleasure, I wouldn't mind earning if they paid me little to do what I like the most. To carry out this work, I would have to continue to specialize in the field of musical culture and always continue to explor...

The best album you´ve ever heard.

It’s very difficult for me to choose the best music album I have ever heard, because I’ve heard many musical genres. But if I have to name one in the first one that I think is in the "Piano Bar" by Charly García . That blew my head for a long time, it’s 38 minutes of pure genius and it’s perfect. And the sessions recorded live are even better, I recommend that you listen to it. Another great album and one of my favorites is “Corazones" by Los Prisioneros , it marks an almost total change in that band, there is a before and after since that album came out. Because they abandoned that punk sound inspired by The Clash, and gave themselves completely to the synthesizers in the purest Depeche Mode’s style, without abandoning, obviously, the lyrics loaded with social messages. In 2014 I had the opportunity to listen to that album live, Jorge Gonzalez the singer and leader of the dissolved band was full of energy on stage, it was a great experience to live that moment, es...

The best movie you´ve ever seen

Image
When the people ask me about my favorite movie, a lot of names come to mind, it's a difficult question. I think in the films of the argentine director Eliseo Subiela, such as The Dark Side of the Heart or Man Looking to the Southeast. I really like them because there are references to artists like René Magritte or Mario Benedetti, in addition the music is made by musicians like Fito Paez and Pedro Aznar, I love them. What I like most about movies is that they have a good soundtrack, so I love movies like Trainspotting or Velvet Goldmine. I could say that they are my favorites if I only take into account the soundtrack. I still remember when it was  announced that Traninspotting would have a second part after 20 years, the premiere coincided with my birthday and it was great. When I went to the cinema I was excited as with the first part, the story and the central song of the movie (Dreaming of Blondie) are still in my head. Anyway, choosing a single movie will alwa...
